Will wrestled all four years of high school. Will won his weight division at the St Ignace tournament twice, he was a Regional qualifier as a junior, and is All Conference this year. In college, Will plans to earn a social work degree at a school that he has not yet chosen. His goal is to help other families in the same way that people have helped his family. The thing Will likes most about wrestling is that it is a sport that allows him to be in control. His favorite wrestling memory is seeing the excitement of his coach and teammates after winning the St. Ignace tournament his junior year. His advice to his younger teammates is to not quit; you get better the more you wrestle, so give success time to happen.

Shan Rambharose

Mother: Sunanda Samaddar Corrado

Shan has wrestled for three years. Shan placed second in the OK White Conference meet this year. Shan plans to study biology in college but has not yet decided where he will do that. His favorite wrestling memory is swimming in Lake Huron in December (brrr!) on the team’s annual trip to St Ignace. Shan likes that wrestling is an individual sport in which you must take full accountability for how you compete, which makes winning feel even better. Shan’s advice to his younger teammates is to wrestle with confidence and always be the hardest worker in practice and during matches.
