For the second consecutive week, Grand Rapids Christian lost a tough 3-set match against rival South Christian. Missing a few key players, the Eagles battled admirably, but ultimately fell 9-25, 25-21, 4-15 in a back and forth match. Grand Rapids Christian was led by freshman duo Eli Wise (12 assists) and Jack Scholten (4 kills). Despite a pair of losses on Wednesday night, the Eagles wrapped up GR South Conference play with a solid 2nd place finish. Grand Rapids Christian closes the regular season with a non-conference tilt against Rockford High School on Thursday night, before turning their attention to the playoffs next week.
