Emmett Vance
Parents: Simon and Stacy Vance
Favorite GRCHS swim team memory: State finals last year. We came back to win the 200 free relay for the second year in a row. Can’t beat that feeling.
Favorite Bible verse: Matthew 6:34 - “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own”
Advice for underclassmen teammates: Attend everything that you can. The unexpected things create the best memories. The day-to-day work that you might hate right now is what you will miss the most.
Plans for after graduation: I hope to play collegiate soccer and study business.
From Coach Pyper:
We proudly recognize our four seniors for their dedication and commitment to our program. We are grateful for everything they have given and are excited to celebrate them. As they step into the next chapter of their lives, we trust that God has great plans for each of them, and we pray they will live with the heart described in Acts 20:24—to run their race with perseverance and to complete the work the Lord has given them—finding continued growth, purpose in all that lies ahead.
