We celebrated our girls volleyball seniors! Here is what their teammates had to say about them!

Mallory has been playing volleyball for 8 years and wants to continue playing in college. Mallory was pulled up to varsity for districts her freshman year and throughout her time at GRC Mallory has been known for being a consistent player and leader on and off the court.
She is team captain this year and has earned that title through her commitment to this program. Although she underwent an injury which has put her out physically this season, she has showed up day in and day out for this team. We are so grateful for the undeniable love Mallory has for the game of volleyball which shines through her. Not only is she a great teammate and player she is my cousin, best friend, future maid of honor, and the person that I and others know we can go to when times are hard. She is like a big sister to me and a role model not just for me but for this whole program.
Mallory, from days at the cottage, getting braids in Mexico, shopping sprees, pranks on our siblings, all-nighter face times during COVID, our over competitive games, and playing mermaids-to this day at Irwin’s. I am so beyond grateful for the memories God has given us. Even if we never get the opportunity to play alongside each other you are who I play for and who I strive to be. I forever love you and I know whatever program that gets you is beyond lucky.”

Maddie is a 2-year varsity volleyball player, but has been playing volleyball for 9 years, with plans to play in college. Maddie is not only one of my favorite closest teammates, but she is one of my best friends.
Coming in as a freshman on varsity was scary, but Maddie also being new to the team was there for me, and our bond only grew stronger. I am so grateful for her and everything she has done. One of my favorite memories with Maddie is our pregame song that we sing before every match. We all have our own parts, and whenever it’s Maddie’s turn, she’s always just a little off-beat and comes in late — but honestly, that’s what makes it so funny and so her.
Along with being extremely funny, Maddie is a person anyone can talk to, not only for me and the team but for anyone she knows. The legacy you have left to on this program is forever.
Maddie, I am so incredibly lucky to have a person like you in my life. So. thank you, thank you for being my role model, my best friend, and my teammate. Thank you for being like a sister to me, we have had so many memories together and I know wherever you go to next, is just as lucky as I was to have met you.
We want to thank our amazing seniors for everything they've given to this team.
Their leadership, hard work, and passion have inspired all of us. They've shown what it means to be true Eagle volleyball players — giving their all on the court and lifting everyone around them.
We are thankful for the memories, the laughs, and the example you’ve set. They've left a legacy that will carry on long after this season ends.
