#2 Will Stuit
Parents: David and Katie Stuit

His favorite teacher at Grand Rapids Christian is Coach Heeres, who brings energy and excitement to every class. Will’s favorite Eagle football memory is this year’s thrilling homecoming victory against Forest Hills Eastern. His advice to the young players: build strong relationships with your teammates and never take a practice for granted. Will thanks his parents for their constant support—never missing a game and always being there. After graduation, Will plans to attend college to study business and finance. 

#6 Adrian Selfe
Parents: Lesley and Robb Selfe

His favorite teacher at Grand Rapids Christian is Mr. Mosterd, who always brings positivity and helps him grow in his walk with God. Adrian’s favorite football memory is beating East Grand Rapids his sophomore year on JV and celebrating with his teammates after the big 42–6 win. His advice to the team: even when football gets hard or frustrating, remember you’re never alone—keep a positive mindset. Adrian thanks his parents for encouraging him to keep playing and never letting him give up. After high school, he plans to either play lacrosse and study business in college or attend trade school to become an electrician. 

#7 Brandt Alles 
Parents: Tim and Lisa Alles

His favorite teacher is Mr. Mosterd, who has helped him through tough times and been a steady source of support. Brandt’s favorite Eagle football memory is this year’s homecoming win over Forest Hills Eastern. What he loves most about Eagle football is the incredible community—one he feels honored to represent. His advice to younger players is to enjoy every moment with your team, because it all goes by fast. Brandt thanks his parents for always walking by his side and giving him a shoulder to lean on. After graduation, he plans to play football at Hope College, with his major still to be decided. 

#9 Nathan Larson 
Parents: Kristen and Brodie Larson. 

His favorite teacher at Grand Rapids Christian is Mr. Nieboer, whose classroom has become a hangout spot for the football team to share lunch and a wide variety of conversation. Nathan’s favorite memories include the senior retreat and this year’s exciting homecoming win over Forest Hills Eastern. His advice to his teammates: embrace every part of the journey—it goes by fast, so give everything you have to the team. Nathan thanks his parents for their endless support and for helping him chase his goals. After graduation, he hopes to study sports management or finance and continue playing football in college. 

#10 Drew Shripka 
Parents: Melissa and Andy Shripka

His favorite teacher at Grand Rapids Christian is Mrs. Boven, who always made class fun—even when it could be confusing. Drew’s favorite football memory is traveling to Wheaton and beating Wheaton Academy. What Drew loves most about Eagle football is the brotherhood built through hard work and the coaches who push players not only to excel on the field but also to grow as men of faith and character. His advice to the young guys: all the hard work will pay off, no matter how unlikely it seems. Drew thanks his parents for supporting his decision to play football from the very start and always being in his corner. After high school, Drew plans to attend college and study engineering. 

#11 Ty Damstra 
Parents: BJ and Kelli Damstra

His favorite teacher is Jim Vos, who not only pushed him to work hard but helped him believe in himself—something Ty says he’ll forever be thankful for. Ty’s favorite football memory is traveling to Wheaton with the boys, exploring Chicago, and of course, coming home with the W. His advice to younger players: own your mistakes, be dependable, respect your teammates, and—most importantly—have a great time. Ty thanks his parents for endless reminders to work hard, always being his #1 fans, and for all the bags of ice. After graduation, Ty plans to study business and continue growing his company, Zenith Exterior Cleaning.

#14 Evan Bolt
Parents:  Kim and David Bolt

His favorite teacher is Mr. Davies, who he’s had the privilege of knowing as a teacher, mentor, and friend—traveling with him to two different continents along the way. Evan’s favorite football memory is the team trip to Wheaton Academy, enjoying the ride there and back, winning the game, and exploring the city of Chicago with his teammates. His advice to future players: have the courage to try something new in high school and don’t leave any opportunities behind. Evan thanks his mom for always being there and supporting him this year, and his dad for being a positive example of love and kindness. After graduation, he plans to study kinesiology in college. 

#50 Will Hausig 
Parents: Coreen and Brian Hausig

His favorite teacher is Coach Kenney, who’s always there to talk, gives great advice - and he’s funny! Will’s favorite Eagle football memory is this year’s first home game win against Spring Lake, when the school stormed the field to celebrate. What he loves most about football is the players and the community that make it special. His advice to his teammates is to go 100% every practice, listen to your coaches, and never take the game for granted—it goes by fast. Will thanks his parents for always supporting him and being there after every game, win or lose. After graduation, he plans to study marketing and sales in college. 

#52 Dane Fitzgibbon 
Parents: Pat and Heidi Fitzgibbon. 

His favorite teacher is Mr. Mosterd, who brings enthusiasm and deep knowledge of the Bible, always taking time to discuss faith and life lessons with his students. Dane’s favorite football memory is traveling to Wheaton Academy with the team—a fun and memorable bonding experience. His advice to future players: even when football starts to feel routine, remember the people and moments that made you fall in love with the game. Dane thanks his parents for coming to every game and always encouraging him to improve. Next year, Dane plans to play collegiate football at Dordt University while pursuing a degree in Agricultural Business. 

#56 Davis Hutt 
Parents: Allison and Justin Hutt

His favorite teacher is Mr. Kuiper, who nurtured his passion for math while creating a classroom that’s both challenging and fun. Davis’ favorite Eagle football memory is the team trip to Chicago—winning on the road, rooming with his buddies, and exploring the city together. His advice to future players: all the hard work you put in gives you a shot—early mornings and long workouts build the culture and foundation for success. Davis thanks his parents for their unwavering support, through the highs, lows, hugs, and high fives that made the journey so memorable. After graduation, he plans to play football in college and study business and financial management. 

#71 Jordan Pruitt 
Parents: Jadon Fowler and Michelle Pruitt

His favorite teacher is Mr. Mosterd, who sets an incredible example of loving like Jesus and brings awe and joy to his classroom every day. Jordan’s favorite Eagle football memory? Freshman year at team camp, when Coach Sundberg famously lit a toilet on fire! His advice to future players: give Jesus a real chance—seek Him eagerly, not just on a weekend retreat or in a desperate prayer, and watch how He can change your life. Next year, Jordan plans to join the EveryHeart Tour, traveling across America to share the message that Jesus loves you, and wants to have a relationship with you that consumes your whole life! 

#77 Josiah Minito 
Parents: Loice Minito and John Mondi

His favorite teacher is Mr. Warners, who always keeps class fun with his funny stories. Josiah’s favorite football memory is spending time with the other seniors on the senior retreat. His advice to future players: don’t stop playing, even when things get hard. He thanks his parents for allowing him to play and supporting him along the way. After graduation, Josiah plans to attend college and pursue a career in business.

We celebrated our 12 amazing senior football players. These young men have combined commitment, sacrifice, heart, and a lot of hard work over the last four years to create a program culture and brotherhood that we can be proud of. We offer up a big THANK YOU to our seniors for pouring into Eagle football - your investment has led to a good bit of fun in the present moment and will benefit us for years to come as we continue to build on the foundation you have laid. Congratulations and Go Eagles!
