GR Christian JV Basketball hosted Wyoming High School Thursday night. The Eagles came out ready to play after there performance on Tuesday. Defensively, the Eagles executed the game plan by shutting down Wyoming's dribble drive offense. The Eagle got their transition game going early and led after one 21-10. The Eagles stay locked in on the defensive end and doubled their lead at the half 43-22. The third quarter, the Eagles were playing their best ball together as a team. The Eagles were winning 64-34 after three quarters. In the fourth, the Eagles took some of the pressure off and finished the contest 79-57.
Delon McCloud led the Eagles with 19 points. CJ Jones and Brandon Schepel added 16 points apiece. The Eagles are 2-0 in conference and 8-0 overall. They return to action next Tuesday at East Grand Rapids High School @4:00pm.
