Grand Rapids Christian stormed through the first half against Wayland today rolling out to an 18-2 lead in the first quarter. With intense defense, the Eagles worked hard to extend their lead to 32-3 at the half. Hannah Sall had 11 of her 13 points at the break, leading the way for the Eagles. The second half saw more strong defense leading to good shots for the Eagles. Ava VanOtteren played her best game of the year with 5 points and 3 assists. Every Eagle contributed with either a steal, rebound, assist, or basket in a great team performance.
The Eagles head to South Christian on Thursday for another conference showdown.
