FOREST HILLS CO-OP: 2
The varsity hockey co-op team skated to a draw tonight tying Forest Hills Northern Eastern 2-2. The Eagles went down 1-0 in the first but responded with a power play goal from Benj Bultema off a pretty pass from Jake Noordewier. Brendan Hofmann also assisted on the play. The Eagles went down in the second period 2-1 but responded in the next shift with Bultema scoring a rebound goal. Hofmann and Tommy Doyle assisted on the goal. After regulation the game ended in a draw and after 8 min of OT the teams were still unable to score. Noah Herzhaft had 29 saves in the effort. The team had 19 blocked shots in the game. The next game is Friday at home vs. Byron Center at 6:15 p.m.
