The Eagles took the field today against the Sailors of South Christian High School. The Eagles took an early lead when Michael McNinch got his third goal of the season. Later in the half, Jackson Groen was tripped in the box and Andrew Overvoorde hit the penalty shot perfectly into the back of the net. At half the Eagles were up 2-1. The Sailors came out strong in the second half and got two goals back to go up 3-2. With under 20 seconds left in the game, Andrew Overvoorde tied the game with a beautiful top corner goal.
