The JV Eagles fell short in an intense battle against Forest Hills Central Thursday night. Game one went to the Eagles with a score of 27-25, and games two and three went to FHC with scores of 21-25 and 10-15.
Stat leaders for the night were Grace Spoelma with 7 kills and 1 ace, Abbe Diemer with 2 aces, 1 kill and 3 digs, Ella Boorsma with 2 aces, 3 kills and 1 block, Olivia May with 2 blocks, Savannah Bol with 3 kills and 1 block, Hanna Bredeweg with 4 kills and 1 block, and Rachel Larsen with 3 aces and 24 digs.
The Eagles will face Lowell on Tuesday at 5pm in the Quest Center for the final match of the tournament and last match of the season.
