BYRON CENTER HIGH SCHOOL: 15
The Eagles lost game three to a solid Byron Center team 15-0. At the plate the girl put the ball in play but were unable to find any gaps in the field for a hit. Annika Smits was the only Eagle to make it on base off of an error. On defense the middle infield held their own. Lauren Holkeboer went 3/3 and Greta Vance 2/2, both sharing time at second base. Lily Gaastra also was 2/2 for total chances at short stop.
The Eagles next game is Monday at Greenville, game one starts at 4:15 and game two at 6:00 PM.
