Boys Varsity Cross Country vs. Regional

The Eagles took first place in the regional meet Saturday at Allendale, and now advance to the MHSAA state finals this Saturday at MIS. Sophomore Simon Triezenberg went wire to wire taking home the individual title. Next came three juniors with Dylan Clark in 5th, Peter Kuperus in 12th and Joe Waalkes in 15th. All 4 made the all-regional team. They were followed by sophomre Keegan Hoekstra in 21st, senior Reuben Wiering in 23rd, and junior Jonathan Koetje in 32nd.
In the Post Regional Open Meet ( PROM ), several Eagles were able to PR in their race. They are Collin Afman, Armand Arakaza, Calvin Brinks, Zach Hartemink, and Isaiah Lindstrom.
