The Eagles get their third home win against the Holland Christian Maroons.  The Eagles defense was stifling versus the Maroons holding them to nine points in the first quarter. The Eagles continue to make defense the cornerstone to their early success this season.  The Eagles have held all three opponents this season in the 40s which usually yields a good outcome.  The Eagles continue to generate offense off of their tough defense.  At the half, the Eagles led 41- 19. The Eagles came out in the third quarter and played with great energy and scored a lot of points in transition.  Going into the four quarter the Eagles were able to stretch the lead and close out the game with a final score of 70-41.  The Eagles got good production from the bench tonight defensively and offensively.  

Great team win tonight.  Kobe Bufkin led the Eagles with 24 points 6 rebounds and 4 assist.  Senior Donovan Brown-Boyd was in double figures with 12 points 6 rebounds while senior Sam VerSteeg chipped in with 11 points.  The Eagles next opponent will be the Forest Hills Central Rangers.
