The Eagles get a conference road win against the Greenville Yellow Jackets. The Eagles came out strong in the first quarter scoring 21 points and holding the Yellow Jackets to 10 points. The Eagles continue to play great team basketball and team defense. The Eagles generate offense off their tough defense. The Eagles lead at the half 38-22. The Eagles came out hot in the third quarter scoring 22 points. The final score the Eagles 79 and the Yellow Jackets 47. This was another great team effort and a big win for the Eagles who are now 8-2 on the season.
Senior Sam VerSteeg finished with 15 points. The Eagles got great offensive production from their juniors. Chase Jackson and Delon McCloud both chipped in with 16 points each. Brandon Schepel finished with 12 points while Amir Nixon chipped in with 11 points. The Eagles will host the Byron Center Thursday on the road.
