The Eagles lose in the district finals to the South Christian Sailors. What a great game from both teams.  This was a hard fought battle from the beginning the Eagles where down in the 1st quarter 18-13.  The Eagles continued to battle in the 2nd quarter but just could never find any continuity on offense.  In the second half, the Eagles were able to close the gap by playing some intense defense holding the Sailors to 13 points in the 3rd quarter.  The Eagles would make some adjustment and closed the gap in the 4th quarter winning the quarter 18-15 but it was a little to late.  The Eagles had some opportunities down the stretch to put themselves in position to win and that's all you can ask for in a game.   The free throws down the stretch played a big roll in the game, however Eagles never gave up and fell short to the Sailors with a final score of 62-54.

Seniors led the way for the Eagles Donovan Brown-Boyd's 21 points 6 rebounds and Sam VerSteeg chipped in with 13 points.  Juniors Delon McCloud finished with 10 and Amir Nixon chipped in with 6 points. 

What great season for the Eagles during this pandemic which presented a ton of challenges and setbacks.  The Eagles persevered and finished with an overall record of 9-3 with four All-Conference players.
