The Grand Rapids Christian Eagles delivered an impressive all-around performance Tuesday night, defeating the Ottawa Hills Bengals 57–17 in a game that showcased the Eagles’ depth and teamwork.
Keira Dawes led the balanced scoring attack with 10 points while pulling down 8 rebounds. Lilah Poel followed closely with 9 points and 4 rebounds, and Charley Hassenrik contributed across the stat sheet with 8 points, 4 steals, and 3 rebounds.
Rae Cummings was the ultimate team player, stuffing the box score with 5 points, 4 rebounds, and a team-high 4 assists to keep the offense flowing. Kamryn Taylor and Lydia Ydenberg each added 7 points, while Maya Merritt provided a spark from beyond the arc, knocking down two perfect three-pointers for 6 points.
The Eagles’ unselfish play and defensive pressure set the tone early and never let up, leading to a decisive conference win.
