The Eagles ran well despite the heat Friday afternoon at Riverside Park. Seniors Tinsae Nelson and Ben Zwart led wire to wire to claim the top 2 spots. Junior Reuben Wiering returned to action after sitting out last week with an injury. He finished 7th, with Freshman team mate Simon Triezenberg right behind in 8th. Sophmore Joe Waalkes rounded out the scorers in 14th place.
Top 3 varsity teams: Eagles 32, Traverse City St Francis 81, Whithall 117
On the JV side, Jasper Casamento took 2nd place, followed by Freshman Zach Hartemink in 9th, Mitchell Winks in 14th, Ewan Joliffe in 17th, and Nick Zwiers in 20th.
