Boys Varsity Cross Country Takes 2nd at the OK White Conference Jamboree #2

Returning to their home course at Gainey for the OK White Conference Jamboree #2, the Grand Rapids Christian boys’ cross country team secured a hard-fought second-place finish. The course was a bit wetter than it had been on Saturday, and runners faced tired legs and humid conditions when the sun appeared. Despite these challenges, the Eagles pushed through with determination.
The team's success was powered by a strong finish from Ashton Fink, who took an impressive fourth place. Sean Ryan finished right behind him in fifth. They were followed by James Scholten-Holcomb (16th), Elias DeJong (20th), Isaiah Lindstrom (25th), Seth Sytsma (31st), and Jonathan Falk (33rd), who rounded out the top seven.
Yang Feng continued his incredible progress, running another personal record (PR), while Reece Hoyt recorded his fastest time of the season (SR).
The Eagles will travel south on Saturday as they seek to conquer Mt. Bulldog at the Otsego Bulldog Invitational.
