Boys Varsity Golf Wins OK White Jamboree

On a wet and cold day, the OK White Jamboree was played at a shorter than usual Ironwood Golf Course in Byron Center. Scores across the board were lower for all the teams, but teh Eagles outlasted their opponents shooting a 149. Byron Center shot 150, Forest Hills Central 155 and Forest Hills Northern 157.
The Eagles were led by Alex VandenBerge, Adam Workman, and Max O'Grady who each shot an even par 37. Rounding out the scoring was Dylan Clark and John Cassiday who both shot 38.
The Eagles finish in the top position after the regular conference season, but have the conference tournament on Monday at Thornapple Pointe. This event is worth double points in the league so we look forward to the opportunity to compete again at a challenging and difficult golf course.
