The Eagles entered the day needing to win the conference tournament and have Catholic Central finish 5th in order capture the overall conference championship. The only thing we could control was our play. We did that well, shooting a very solid 302 to edge out Catholic Centrals 307 and Forest Hills Eastern's 311. A great tournament win the toughest conference in the State of Michigan (4 teams ranked in top 10 of D2). The Eagles were led by Sawyer O'Grady's 73 (T3), Cooper Reitsma's 74 (T5), Charlie Stehouwer's 77 (T8), and Ty Erickson's 78 (T10). After the dust settled, we finished second in the conference, even while winning the Conference Tournament. A great finish to great regular season for the Eagles!

This also helped decide All-Conference (must compete in 5 of 7 jamborees & the conf tournament). There are 10 All-Conference players and 5 Honorable Mention. Earning honorable mention for GRC was Freshman Charlie Stehouwer (15th best average - 39.67) and senior Ty Erickson (11th best average - 39.00). Earning All Conference was Sawyer O'Grady (5th best average - 37.56) and Cooper Reitsma (3rd best average - 36.75). 

Congrats to these four boys for All Conference and Honorable Mention. Congrats to the team on a Conference Championship. The Eagles have Regionals on Wednesday 5/27 at Clearbrook Golf Club in Saugatuck. Top three teams move on to State Finals.
