Girls Varsity Golf Regional

The GRCHS girls varsity golf team shot their best round of the season yet at our regional tournament on a tough Diamond Springs golf course on Tuesday. The team fired a 336 which tied for first overall as a team, but the tiebreaker 5th score went to South Christian. The second place finish advances the team onto the state tournament next Saturday at MSU's Forest Akers East course.
Congratulations to Ryann Breslin who is the regional champ as she shot an amazing 2 under par 70 to lead the team! Sara Muir fired an excellent 81 to place 3rd overall at regionals and Annika Smits shot a personal best 89 to take 10th place overall at regionals and medal as well. Niya Couch and Halle Couch rounded out the team scoring with a solid pair of 96's.
