Girls Varsity Golf State Tournament

The GRCHS Eagles Girls Varsity Golf Team finished in the top 10 at the state tournament this past Saturday at MSU's Forest Akers East golf course! The team fired a 359 to take 10th place in Division III in the state. Junior Sara Muir fired a solid 89, Freshmen Halle Couch shot 98 and senior Annika Smits added a 102 on a long course. A special shout out goes to senior Ryann Breslin for shooting a 2 under par 70 which was highlighted by a new state record of five birdies in just 7 holes! She also birdied the final two holes she played to tie for first place at the state tournament as an individual!
