Girls Varsity Golf vs. Multiple Opponents

The varsity girls golf team defeated both Holland Christian and Unity Christian on Monday night at Cascade's Par 3 South 9 course, 147-159-171. The Eagles were led by senior Sara Muir who fired a very solid 4-over-par 31 and sophomore Halle Couch who shot a 35 which was highlighted by a hole-in-one!!! On the par 3, 7th hole, Halle fired a perfect 5 iron which traveled the 170 yards to the hole and smoothly rolled up to drop straight into the cup for Halle's first ever ace! Way to go Halle!!!
Team scoring was rounded out by Niya Couch who shot a 40 and Taylor Dykhouse and JoJo Burgess who each shot a 41. The team begins their OK White conference play next week at Egypt Valley.
