Girls Varsity Golf vs. Multiple Opponents

On a warm Wednesday at Egypt Valley Country Club, the GRCHS varsity girls golf team played 18 holes which were divided up into 2 nine hole OK White jamboree events. On the first nine holes the team took first place shooting a team score of 166 and beating CC by 2 strokes. Lily O'Grady led the team with an almost unbelievealbe 5 under par score of 31!! This is a school record for girls golf!! Ellie O'Grady shot a 41 and Jane Snyder shot a 43 which were also solid rounds at Egypt Valley.
The 2nd nine whole jamboree the team took second place shooting a team score of 183. The team was again led by senior Lily O'Grady who shot a 38, Ellie O'Grady who shot 43 and Carolina Yeung who shot 50.
The team plays next on Tuesday at Watermark CC.
