FOREST HILLS NORTHERN HIGH: 2.00
The Eagles travelled to Forest Hills Northern for a conference matchup on Tuesday night. The Eagles took some time to settle into the match but would eventually find their footing and begin controlling aspects of play. They would be rewarded when Liam Jansen beat two defenders on the right side and managed to toe-poke a finish past the keeper to stake the visitors to a 1-0 lead. Andrew Brink would add to the lead off an inch perfect through-ball from Max Visser to make it 2-0 heading into the half.
The Eagles would start strong in the second period and have a couple high quality chances to add to the lead, but could not finish one off. This proved costly as the Eagles would concede two late goals to the hosts. The match would finish 2-2.
The Eagles return to action on Thursday night when they host Forest Hills Central at 7:30 on youth night at Eagle Stadium.
