The Eagles welcomed the Rangers of Forest Hills Central on Youth Night at the stadium. The home side came out on the front foot and controlled much of the play in the first half. Despite great effort and quality play, the Eagles were not able to reward themselves with a goal during the half. The #2 ranked Rangers came out strong in the second half, but the Eagles continued to battle. The game came down to an unfortunate bounce that went the way of the visitors and that led to a foul in the box, which resulted in a goal from the penalty spot. The Eagles pressed hard for the equalizer, but the Ranger keeper's sure hands on set pieces late on sealed the game for the visitors.
The Eagles return to Eagle Stadium on Monday when they host the Hawks of Forest Hills Eastern for a 7:30pm kick off.
