FOREST HILLS NORTHERN HIGH: 1
The Eagles hosted the Huskies of Forest Hills Northern in a key conference matchup on Wednesday night. The visitors would strike first with a looping header off a cross. The Eagles would eventually find their footing and Liam Jansen rewarded the home side with an incisive individual run that culminated with a perfect finish that caromed off the far post and into the goal to level the match at 1-1. The second half would feature better overall effort and GRIT, but the Eagles couldn't find the winner and the sides settled for a 1-1 draw.
The Eagles return to the pitch when they travel to Forest Hills Central on Monday evening for a 6:45pm kickoff.
