The Eagles hosted Holland Christian Wednesday night. The night started honoring the 6 seniors on the team. Emma Hart, Claire Hart, Bryn Bonnema, Ava VanOtteren, Kailynn Grieve, and Jessica Larsen walked to midfield to be greeted by fans and coaches. The games started off with an early chance from Junior Emma Van Goor that was saved by the Maroons goalkeeper. The Eagles continued to press on in the first half seeing a few chances go wide. Halftime saw the teams level at 0-0. The second half started and the away team brought the pressure. They eventually capitalized on a corner that was headed home for a 1-0 lead. The Eagles pushed for an equalizer for the last 10 minutes but were unable to find the back of the net. The game finished with Holland Chrsitian winning 1-0.
