The Eagles kicked off their postseason run yesterday hosting the Red Arrows of Lowell at Gainey Athletic Complex. The game started off at a furious pace with the Red Arrows keeper saving multiple shots within 10 yards of the goal. Eagles senior Claire Hart was able to finally break through with a goal slotted home from 12 yards out. Grand Rapids Christian was able to maintain control of the lead throughout the rest of the game while keeping pressure on the Red Arrows back line with the game finishing 1-0. The Eagles move on to the second round of the conference tournament and will play Forest Hills Central Wednesday at 6:45PM.
