The second round of the conference tournament kicked off last night with Forest Hills Central hosting the Grand Rapids Christian. The game started off with the Rangers grasping the majority of possession. The first breakthrough came from a missed clearance that lead to the opening goal for the home team. Grand Rapids Christian quickly answered with a corner kick that lead to a headed goal by Emma Van Goor. An unfortunate error lead to a quick recapture of the lead for the Rangers seeing them go into halftime up 2-1. The second half saw Forest Hills Central pile pressure on the Eagles finding the net an additional 3 times. The final score was 5-1. Eagles will plan Forest Hills Northern at Eagles Stadium in the 3rd place matchup this Friday at 7:30PM.
