The Eagles had a quick turnaround after their Friday night match when they hosted the Rockets of Reeths Puffer on Saturday morning. The home side came out on the front foot and created numerous quality chances at goal in the first half. Charley Hassenrik would open the scoring when she lofted a shot from distance that beat the keeper after a short-corner was played with Iris Morgan. Hassenrik would double the lead when she received a ball in the box, turned her defender, and buried a shot to the far post. In spite of some great chances in the second half, the Eagles would not add to the lead. The defense, however, stayed organized and limited dangerous chances from the opposition. The match ended 2-0.
The Eagles return to action when they host Forest Hills Central tonight at 7:45pm for the final game at Eagle Stadium this season. Go Eagles!
