The Eagles visited East Grand Rapids on Monday, losing to the Pioneers by a final score of 1-7.
A flat start hurt the Eagles, dropping first set in 6 of 8 matches. But the compete was there as the match went on and it ended up much closer than the score indicates. The one win on the day came from the Captain duo at 1 Doubles, Banks McNinch and Will Deblecourt, who won in two close sets and continue their impressive season at the top doubles position.
The Eagles move on to a strong week of practice before next Monday's home match versus Forest Hills Eastern.
