The Grand Rapids Eagles secured the No. 1 seed in OK-White Conference play, capping off an undefeated 6-0 regular season with a thrilling 3-2 victory over East Grand Rapids.

The Eagles came out strong on the road, taking the first set 25-19 with confident play and sharp execution. However, momentum shifted in the next two sets as East Grand Rapids responded with aggressive serving and blocking, handing the Eagles tough losses at 25-12 and 25-10.

Refusing to back down, the Eagles regrouped in set four. Behind more precise passing and a smart, aggressive offense, they battled point-for-point before edging out the Pioneers 27-25 in a high-stakes set.

Set five was all about composure and resilience. Senior Taylor Frost set the tone early with two clutch aces and a 5-point service run, helping the Eagles build early momentum. The team held strong to seal the match with a 15-13 victory.
