The Grand Rapids Christian Eagles hosted the Aviators for the District Semifinal match and came away with an impressive 3-0 victory, winning 25-10, 25-11, and 25-4.

It was a big night for the Eagles, not only did they advance to the District Finals, but they also celebrated a major career milestone for Taylor Frost, who reached 1,000 career assists during the second set. Congratulations, Taylor!

The Eagles played a crisp and dominant match, posting a .688 team hitting percentage and tallying 27 total kills. Leading the attack was Mya McKinnon, who recorded 9 kills with just one error and finished with a .727 hitting percentage. Piper Cebulski was also a force at the net, contributing 4 kills on 4 swings for a .750 hitting percentage.

From the service line, the Eagles stayed sharp with a 92.5% serving percentage. Carys Nieuwenhuis led a commanding service run of 19 straight serves, including 9 aces, just six serves short of a perfect game.

The Eagles now advance to the District Final, where they’ll face off against rival South Christian at 6:00 p.m. in the Quest Center. Be there and be loud!
