Eagles Varsity Girls’ Lacrosse - Eagles Varsity came away with another solid win against Grand Haven, winning 18-4! Goals were scored by Lili Bouwma (6), Halle Couch (4), Niya Couch (3), Elizabeth Mehney (3), Adia Sikkema (2), Halle Couch, Ellie denDulk, and Kiera Zylstra. Attacker Niya Couch was credited with winning 5 draws and controlling 4. Midfielder Adia Sikkema was credited with winning 5 draws and controlling 2. Defensive player of the game was awarded to Katie Winkle for her work communicating and helping around the crease. The team’s Ground Hog Award was awarded to Adia Sikkema. With 4 assists, Lili Bouwma was awarded the Laxister of the game. Way to go Eagles!!
