Boys Varsity Swimming/Diving vs. Hamilton/Holland/Otsego

The GR Christian Boy's Swimming/Diving team had their first meet of the season Saturday in Hamilton. The 3rd ranked Eagles in the state (Division 3) took on 6th ranked Hamilton (D3), as well as Otsego (D3) and Holland (D2). Eagles were able to secure victories against all opponents with 7 1st place finishes. The Eagles look forward to their Tuesday meet (6:00pm) this week against East Kentwood (D1) and Wayland (D3) at East Kentwood High School.
State Qualifiers for the Eagles include:
200 Medley Relay: Corey Campbell, Lucas Oezer, Will Gelderloos, Tyler Eekhoff - 1:43.90
200 Freestyle: Jacob Haaksma - 1:49.52
100 Butterfly: Corey Campbell - 54.13
200 Freestyle Relay: Lucas Oezer, Jacob Haaksma, Luke Foll, Will Gelderloos - 1:34.05
100 Backstroke - Corey Campbell - 58.11
100 Breaststroke - Jacob Haaksma - 1:01.22
