Boys Varsity Wrestling at Unity Christian Invitational and Sparta Invitational

The Eagle Wrestlers split up and competed in two different tournaments on Saturday. Most of the team was at the Unity Christian Invitational. Jayden Wierenga placed fourth and Ari Gray won his consolation bracket.
Caleb Pugh competed in the Sparta Invitational. Caleb had an outstanding day as he placed first and earned the “Outstanding Wrestler” award. Caleb had a great day with three falls and a technical fall. Caleb defeated the top ranked wrestler with a 1:06 fall in the finals.
The wrestling team competes at Comstock Park on Wednesday, wrestling against Forest Hills Northern and Fruitport.
