The Wrestling team competed against Ottawa Hills and Godwin Heights Wednesday night, winning both duals.

The Eagles beat Ottawa Hills 60-18.  Winners against Ottawa Hills were Matthew Hinsch (Fall 3:35), Caleb Bylsma (Inj Time), Ari Gray (For.), Daniel Hinsch (For.), Jayden Wierenga (Fall 1:35), Isaac Sung (Fall 1:40), Isaac James (For.), Zac Buter (For.), Max Patten (Fall 2:28), and Caleb Pugh (Fall 1:16)

The Eagles also won against Godwin Heights, defeating them 63-15.  Winners against Godwin were Beckett Bylsma (For.), Caleb Bylsma (For.), Ari Gray (For.), Lincoln Leatherman (For.), Jayden Wierenga (Fall 0:56), Isaac Sung (For.), Isaac James (For.), Zac Buter (For.), Josiah Gurley (Dec 10-7), Caleb Pugh (For), Matthew Hinsch (Fall 2:41).

Five Eagle wrestlers competed at the Reed City Invitational on Saturday against wrestlers from 24 schools. Ari Gray battled back after losing his first match to make the consolation finals.  He ended up 2-2 on the day with both wins being by pin.  Caleb Pugh improved his season record to 30-0 after going 3-0 Saturday.  Caleb had two pins and a technical fall on his way to a first place finish.
