Boys Varsity Wrestling Defeat Unity Christian HS School

The Eagle wrestlers were victorious on senior night, defeating Unity Christian 48-30. Both teams battled in a back and forth dual that was tied after 11 weight classes. The Eagles won the final three weights to secure the victory. All three Eagle seniors won their matches. Isaac Sung pinned his opponent in 38 seconds. Parker Will tied won a back and forth match will a pin at the 5:51 mark. Michael Cool won by forfeit. Other match winners for the Eagles were Ari Gray (for.), Daniel Hinsch (Fall 1:22), Jayden Wierenga (Fall 3:17), Max Patten (Fall 1:49), Josiah Gurley (for.)
The wrestlers finish the regular season with a dual record of 11-16 which is the most wins for an Eagle wrestling team in at least 15 years. Thank you to the many fans that came out and cheered the team on last night, it was a very fun atmosphere to compete in.
