THORNAPPLE KELLOGG HIGH SCHOOL: 41
The Eagles returned to action against Thornapple-Kellogg High School after a week off. The first quarter the Eagles struggled to fine their offensive rhythm. The Eagles scored off of their defense from applying full court pressure. After one the Eagles led 17-8. The second quarter it was a defensive battle from both teams as both teams struggled to score. At the break, the Eagles led 29 to 15 over Thornapple-Kellogg. The third quarter, the Eagles gave up 6 points as they still applied full court pressure. The fourth quarter was the Eagles best quarter offensively as their uptempo game finally started clicking. The Eagles pulled out the win 64-41.
The Eagles were led in scoring by CJ Jones with 19 points. Delon McCloud added 14 and Brandon Schepel added 11. Grand Rapids Christian returns to action on Thursday at home against Wyoming @7pm.
