The Eagles beat Forest Hills Central last night 3-1. FHC scored 5 minutes into the game to make it 1-0 and would control the game for the majority of the first half. In the last 5 minutes of the half, the Eagles turned it around and scored 3 quick goals. The first goal came from Marcus Jenkins II, who backed a defender down, turn onto his weaker foot and finished in the right corner, assisted by Moses Hapner. Moses scored the second goal 1 minute later after combining with Simon Borst through the middle, beating a defender, and placing it in the bottom left corner from the top of the box. With 5 seconds left in the half, Simon Borst sent a free kick from the right corner to the far post, where Noah Batts calmly volleyed the ball into top shelf.
