The contest began with a measured pace, finding the Eagles trailing narrowly, 13-12, at the close of the first quarter. However, the team quickly elevated their intensity on both ends of the court, executing sharper offense and applying relentless defensive pressure. This surge propelled the Eagles to a commanding 23-16 lead heading into halftime.
Forest Hills Eastern refused to relent, fiercely battling back in the third quarter to trim the lead to six points. Facing late-game adversity, the Eagles' resilience shone through.
