Boys Freshman Soccer vs. OPEN

A weekend of tough games for the freshman boys as they battled it out against JV teams from St. Joseph and Kalamazoo Central. Our first game against St. Joseph started out rather evenly matched in spite of the difference in levels. In the end, Eagles' Ben DeYoung and Max Michael put us on the scoreboard by scoring their respective goals. The game would come to an end with a tough loss for the Eagles.
About an hour later, the players had to suit up and start their second game of the day against Kalamazoo Central's JV team. This was a very tough game and in the end, K. Central came up with a 4-0 victory.
There were a lot of lessons to be learned from these games and we have no doubt they will help us in our subsequent games.
