The Eagles took to the road visiting the Wolves of Wyoming. It was a hot start for the Eagles as they jumped to a 15-2 lead in the first quarter converting pressure defense into easy baskets. The Wolves made a run in the second quarter as they ended the half down 15-26. Katelyn LaRue scored 16 of her 20 points in the first half. Yet, in the second half, the Eagle defense banded together holding Wyoming to only four field goals the last two quarters.
Rylee Sigler, Kailynn Grieve, Paris Rodgers, and Kayla Lyons took turns defending the two leading scorers of the Wolves holding them to a combined 6 points. It was another game that saw 10 of the 12 Eagles score and shot 12 of 16 from the charity stripe.
Grand Rapids Christian returns home on Tuesday looking to avenge its earlier loss to East Grand Rapids.
