The JV Eagles faced one of their shortest benches of the season, dealing with a mix of illness and vacation absences. Despite the challenges, the team delivered one of their most impressive performances of the season, showcasing incredible depth and teamwork.

We added 3 players from other teams in our program and all 10 players managed to contribute at least one rebound, an extraordinary feat that highlighted their collective effort. Alexis Willis stepped up as the team’s anchor, taking on the point guard role and leading the offense with poise. She tallied 6 points, 5 assists, 4 steals, 3 rebounds, and 1 block, what a list. 

Elyssa Haley was another standout, dominating the boards with 9 rebounds while adding 6 points and 2 assists. Addie Rodenhouse and Zuly Lathouwers posted nearly identical stat lines, with each contributing 8 points and 6 rebounds. Their effort in the paint was key to the Eagles' success.

Braylon VanDenend had strong contributions with 4 points, 4 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 assists, while Jazlyn Feyen made her mark with 4 points and 3 steals. Every player found a way to impact the game, combining for a well-rounded, all-around effort.

The Eagles’ performance not only secured a hard-fought win but also avenged an earlier season loss, making the victory even sweeter. It was a fun, memorable night that proved just how strong this team can be, even when faced with adversity.
