The GRC Eagles JV girls basketball team earned a dominant 49–7 victory over East Grand Rapids, showcasing excellent teamwork and a balanced scoring attack. The Eagles controlled the game from start to finish, setting the tone with strong defense and unselfish play.
Hazel Vance and Iris Morgan led the scoring with 10 points each. Vance also contributed 4 rebounds and 4 steals, while Morgan added an impressive 6 rebounds and 6 steals. Elyssa Haley and McKenzy Jones each chipped in 9 points, providing additional offensive firepower. Rachel Klooster pulled down 5 rebounds, and Arok Mawut made her presence felt defensively with 4 steals.
With the convincing win, the Eagles look forward to carrying their momentum into next week’s matchup against Catholic Central.
