FOREST HILLS CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL: 3.00
The GEagles visited Forest Hills Central on a super windy Monday evening. The entire Eagles defense including Mackenzie Bishop, Rose Toly and Autumn Rice stayed composed even with the constant pressure from the opposing team. The Rangers were able to take a few shots but Freshman Lucy Leo blocked goals left and right propelling the Eagles into half time with a 0-0 score.
In the second half, the Eagles battled hard especially since the home team now had the wind advantage. The offense including Elle DeJonge & Aluong Reng continued to hustle despite the physicality of the game. Although the Eagles were unable to find the back of the net, the team played with determination and the game concluded with a score of 0-3 in favor of the Rangers.
Next game is Friday at home against Forest Hills Northern.
