The JV Eagles dominated again this weekend, beating West Catholic, Montague, and Grand Haven.
Savannah Bol lead in stats with 2 kills and 3 blocks vs WC, as well as Grace Spoelma with 3 kills and 4 aces. Scores against West Catholic were 25-12 and 25-16.
The Eagles took the Montague game in 3 sets, losing the first 20-25, and winning the second two, 25-11 and 15-12. Gabby Richardson lead the team with 7 aces, followed by Kidist Nelson with 4 aces and 5 kills, and Rachel Larsen with 3 aces. Ella Boorsma lead in kills with 8, as well as 1 block.
Grand Haven was an intense match, but the Eagles came out on top, winning 25-23 and 25-20. Kidist Nelson lead the team with 6 kills, Ella Boorsma with 4 kills, and Hanna Bredeweg with 3 kills. Grace Spoelma contributed 4 aces, and Abbe Diemer had 2 kills and 1 block.
The JV team will be competing for the Conference Championship starting 10/20 vs Northview at 5pm. The Eagles were undefeated in conference, so they will be hosting the tournament in the Quest Center.
