The Grand Rapids Christian freshman volleyball team earned a hard-fought victory over the Hawks of Forest Hills Eastern in a three-set match.
Aleigha VanStee anchored the defense with 5 digs and added 2 aces from the service line. Chloe Helder powered through with 4 kills, while Maddie Postma led the attack with 6 kills. Setting up the offense, Avery Warren tallied 4 assists and an ace, and Oakleigh Visker contributed 5 assists and 3 aces to round out a strong team performance.
