The Eagles of Grand Rapids Christian defeated the Ottawa Hills Bengals Tuesday night in a tight matchup. GRC came out strong, dominating the first set 25–6 before dropping the second 20–25. They regrouped and finished the night with a 15–12 victory in the deciding set.
Avery Warren was a standout, tallying 7 assists and 4 aces while delivering 19 perfect serves that powered the Eagles to wins in the first and third sets. Maddie Postma led at the net with 10 kills, while Sophie Plantinga added 5 aces. Nahla Simpson was effective up front, tipping for 6 points.
